To us, sustainability without accountability equals empty words. Sustainability has become a real buzzword over recent years, but we are just as disillusioned with ‘all talk, no action’ as you are. Rooted in our promise to deliver ethically made streetwear, we have worked hard to ensure our sustainability credentials are measurable and trustworthy.
A Culture of Accountability: Our Ongoing Commitment to Running Sutsu Responsibly
Fast fashion is becoming one of the 21st centuries biggest environmental concerns. Since our inception, Sutsu has had sustainability in mind. From the start we have aimed to be a progressive brand for those of us who actively engage with the environment, and we have always aspired to have a positive impact on the planet.
We are committed to running Sutsu responsibly, always aiming to be accountable for our actions; this means not putting profits ahead of the wellbeing of people or the natural environment.
To that end, Sutsu's ethics are independently accredited by Ethy, Renoon, Climate Neutral, EarthPositive, Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), PETA and the Fair Wear Foundation.

ethy has developed sustainability standards with leading organisations such as Carbon Neutral Britain, Efeca, Edinburgh University Innovations and Social Enterprise UK and is now championing sustainable shopping through ethy verified brands.
Sutsu has been accredited and verified by ethy.
Change Climate
Sutsu is certified by Climate Neutral. Wherever you see the certified label, it means the company is accountable for its greenhouse gas emissions. To earn the label, a company must annually measure cradle-to-customer emissions, implement specific action plans to reduce emissions, and invest in high quality, verified carbon credits.
The certification requirements are detailed in the rigorous, peer-reviewed Climate Neutral Certified Standard. Each company’s application is reviewed for compliance by Change Climate’s certification team.
Fair Wear Foundation
Fair Wear was founded in 1999 with the ambitious mission to improve labour conditions in the garment industry. Progress has been made since then, but significant challenges remain. On a mission to make clothing fair for everyone the Fair Wear Foundation are pushing for a world where the global garment supply chain is a source of safe, dignified and decently paid employment, and in which human rights are respected.
The Foundation connect and convene brands, factories, workers, trade unions, NGOs and other industry influencers. Ambitious alignment is needed to drive the garment industry to become fair for all.
Our vision is to take care of our planet so that, in turn, it can take care of us
Being a force for change in the fashion industry is rarely a linear process. We always welcome your feedback and support - if you would like to get in touch please contact us at hello@sutsu.com.
