Slow fashion

Built to last

Fast fashion is becoming one of the 21st centuries biggest environmental concerns. Since launching Sutsu brand back in 2004, we have always aimed to be accountable for our actions: we are part of this industry, and have felt the need to support change. Fast forward to now and we are constantly looking for ways to improve: we now hold no stock and only produce a Sutsu garment when you purchase it from us. We only use organic cotton and or recycled fibres and our garments are built to go slow. Our garments are made to be worn in (and out) and we are never prouder than when we see a design from 10 years ago walk past.

Production Ethics

No Waste No sweat

One of our fundamental policies is that we do not hold stock. Advancements in production now allow us to make a product on demand, so there is no wastage. It’s a simple three-step journey: place your order, we get to work on making your order, and you receive your product(s) roughly 3-5 days later fresh off the press (unless you’re ordering on a Friday afternoon & then it will go production on Monday). Our supply chain is 3rd party accredited, fully traceable, we use Fair Wear Foundation suppliers only, our garments are PETA approved vegan and OEKO_TEX Standard 100 and our inks are water based so they are safer for the environment.

Pricing Transparency

We Save You Save

We don't hold stock, so we don't have a warehouse with costly overheads (and/or extra staff members). Our made-to-order service allows us to pass that saving onto you. You receive the same quality of garment – organic cotton, PETA approved, climate neutral - for up to 30% of the normal RRP. There is also no waste: because we only make a Sutsu garment when you buy it. If it’s not being ordered, it doesn’t exist. If you want to learn more about our pricing just have a look at our product pages where we show you how much it costs us to make a piece of clothing.
